I got back from Young Women’s Camp at Camp Liahona yesterday!! It started on Tuesday, July 5th, 2022. It was a week of fun, friendship, and spiritual messages.
Alex and my Dad took care of my lovelies while I was away 😊 They would open the little chicken door in the mornings, and close it in the evenings, along with filling up their feeder and waterer. They are my heroes!
But I still missed my pretty girls while I was away. So today we had some fun! I opened the door to let them out of their run. They love exploring the yard and it’s the funniest thing to watch them explore, so I figured it would be fun for both them and me.
While we were doing this, I was reminded of my favorite antics my chickies get into.
- Jump up onto me, from my lap to my shoulders
- Eat my hair. It’s almost as cute as having a baby eat your hair ;D (except actual babies are more adorable than chickens soo….)
- Bounce up and down to reach a leaf JUST out of reach of their hungry mouths.
- Run back and forth across the wire wall of their run, sure that there MUST be at least one invisible door they have yet to discover.
